The aim of our award-winning project is to re-invent and revive the Brat Bhríde tradition across Ireland at a community level, fostering togetherness, celebrating communities, and cherishing our heritage.
Rooted in the spirit of Goddess and Saint Brigid, this initiative welcomes people of all ages, valuing the wisdom and experience of older generations while embracing the creativity and enthusiasm of younger ones. With a unique approach, we honour Brigid’s legacy of protection, healing, and inspiration, ensuring that the Brat Bhríde is shared only as a heartfelt gift, strengthening bonds and keeping this sacred tradition alive.
